When you refer people and they become active players you will get some nice ingame bonuses. These bonuses are given the moment your referral enters for the first time the headquarters of some country. ^top There are 3 levels of leadership in for King and Country: LD: The leader The leader is the head of the country. He is elected by the people in the headquarters. To be electable as leader you must have access to the headquarters as a land officer (have privilege level 1 and be brigadier or higher). A country can elect a leader as soon as there are 5 players in the headquarters (brigadier or higher in army or Jr Post Captains or higher in the navy) out of whom at least 2 are electable for leader. If the leader has a marshal rank (Vice Marshal or higher) he will get a custom leader rank. Vice Marshal becomes Warlord, Field Marshal King and Grand Marshal Emperor. These ranks can lead all other players in their army and don't have a wage cap. HC: High Command The High Command consists of at most 4 members, appointed by the leader. They help the leader in ruling the country. They can declare wars and form alliances. They can change the HC message and start court martials. When they are in the army of the LD, they can move the army and attack with it. WC: War Council They assist the leader and the HC. There can be an unlimited number of people in the war council. They have the powers of the HC, except for diplomacy (wars/alliances) ^top At the end of the age, you can win medals for your achievements in the past age. There are 7 types of medals you can win for the top 3 places in:  Individual Army rankings Army PVP rankings Individual Navy rankings Navy PVP rankings Participation in most SFs For being leader or HC of one of the top 3 countries. For the top 3 merchants.

Bank payments usually take 3-5 working days. PayPal normally within a day unless it is an eCheck. ^top There is a variable age end; The age ends 4 days after only 4 countries are left or 24 hours when only 3 countries remain. After 21 days the age ends automatically though. ^top Having more then 1 account on the same IP-address and computer is not allowed, but you can ask prior permission of an admin. To ask permission use the contact form on the site to notify us that you intend to play from the same IP; include both your usernames. Then you will get permission to play from the same IP, unless we see a reason not to give it (at our discretion). Not asking permission means there's greater chance of getting one of the two accounts banned. Appealing such a ban would be very hard, since no permission was given. ^top No, there isn't. Most countries do have a chat though; these are made and maintained by players for easier communication in the country. Those chats are not an official part of the game and it is in no way mandatory to join them, but it's always fun to be able to chat with your fellow countrymen and usually you'll be able to get some help or advice there when needed. ^top No, there is no special mode (such as temporary account suspension or vacation mode) for people who go away for some time. You'll just have to make sure you have enough cash on hand (if you have negative income) to last the entire period. After 3 days of not logging in to your account is marked 'inactive' and is removed from the game for all purposes (such as defending cities). When you get back you can activate your account again simply by logging in. ^top It can take a while for the activation email to arrive (depending on a lot of factors). If you really didn't get it, check the following: You can request game staff to manually activate your account by sending a message by the contact form in the menu. Please only do this if you are sure you typed your email correctly and the activation email wasn't filtered. ^top You don't have to vote, there are no benefits to your personal account, but voting is only two clicks (after this the message disappears until you can vote again) and it put's For King and Country higher in the rankings of rpg games on the site where you vote for us. This will make it more visible, attracting more new players to the game, which benefits all of us. ^top People ranked lower than Lt Colonel or Commander cannot post on the Country Talk or send mass messages. This is done to prevent low ranked people to spam all over the forum. You can select on City, Rank, Commander, Name, HC and Online. (note, Colonel/Commander and below can’t see the location and other info of a higher ranked player. When you have the list of the players you like to send the message to, you scroll down. There is a post box for new topics. Next to that list is a drop down box to select what type of message this is. Select “Send to selection” from that list. If you like to send the message to all players of your country you can also select this. ^top Your only option will be to commit suicide. When you suicide, your entire account will be reset, and you will be able to join another country.
